Bonaventure Historical Society was created in 1992 by a retired Savannah school teacher and several of his friends. Our mission has always been the preservation and conservation of Savannah’s historic Bonaventure Cemetery. To help accomplish this, our dedicated volunteers host our Visitors Center every weekend and give free, guided tours each month. If you live in the area, consider joining us!
