Good news! Bonaventure Cemetery is open again!

Bonaventure Cemetery is now open to the public under very limited conditions. There are several areas in the historic section, such as Johnny Mercer Lane where the lyricist’s remains are buried, that are not accessible.
Inaccessible areas will be identified by yellow tape along the edges, and security guards will be placed at each site.
In addition, the Bonaventure Historical Society will be at the cemetery in the Administration Building Visitors Center each day to assist with inquiries.
The operating hours are from 10 am to 2 pm.
This limited access condition will remain in effect until further notice.
