Bonaventure Cemetery Camellia Dedication Ceremony: Honoring First Ladies of Georgia
The City of Savannah and Bonaventure Cemetery will host a dedication ceremony for twelve specially cultivated camellias named for the First Ladies of Georgia. The Dedication ceremony will include Cemeteries’ Director, Samuel Beetler, II, Liz Pascual, Master Gardener with the UGA Extension office, and our very own Pat Alhouse, Chair of the Bonaventure Historical Society.
Expressing anticipation, Pat Alhouse remarked, “Looking forward to showing off the beautiful additions to the Bonaventure camellias.” The Bonaventure Historical Society is delighted to have played a modest role in the recent beautification endeavors of Bonaventure Cemetery.
The event will be held on Saturday, January 20th, 2024 at 10 a.m. at 330 Bonaventure Road in Savannah, Georgia.
